Position: Logistics/Freight Sale Manager ($1,200-$2,000)
Job Duties
– Develop new business opportunities, targeting, planning and winning end to end freight forwarding solutions that align with the company’s growth objectives; this incorporates tendering, pricing and presentations based on customer requirements.
– Build strategic Senior Exec (Divisional Director / C-level) relationships with customers influencing decisions and driving opportunities throughout the sale cycle.
– Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
– Build strategic working relationships within Retail and Consumer markets as well as internal service groups.
– Pre-contract investigations to determine the best mode of transport in terms of time, equipment, costs required to complete the project.
– Preparing the terms & conditions, prepare bids, prepare costs/sale spreadsheets.
– Coordinating logistics services and communicating with different logistics service providers.
– Developing marketing opportunities to new and existing segments, leveraging existing and planned capabilities.
Job Requirements
– At least 4 years Freight Forwarding & Transportation experience
– Possess valid driving license is a must
– General understanding of shipping modes and terms.
– Flexible and be able to travel and work on mission or base in provincial areas.
– Organized, committed, quick, accurate and flexible.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or other related field
– Excellent organizational skills, results driven and customer focused.
– Ability to work with own initiatives and in a team.
– Experiences in selling bounded Warehouse, transport distribution & Logistics are a plus.
– Must be able to read, write and speak English very good level.
– Computer skills (MS Office, MS Outlook, Internet & Email).
