Position: Video Editor ($400-$600)

Job Duties

• Operates audio signal processing equipment such as equalizers, noise reducers, and audio mixing consoles and related equipment.
• Work on a variety of productions including feature films, TV commercial, music videos, corporate training videos or advertisements.
• Serves as video editing consultant and troubleshooter.
• Video Editing, Visual Effect, Motion Graphic, 3D Animation.
• Work is performed with considerable independence under the general direction of a project producer or video director.
• Assists with and performs associated studio production work such as operating audio, videotape machines, cameras, and lighting sets.

Job Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate ideas orally and in writing.
• Ability to effectively operate and maintain video editing systems and related equipment
• Considerable knowledge of the uses, operations, and limitations of videotape editing systems and related equipment.
• Considerable knowledge of the methods, video equipment, personal computers, and techniques used in the video editing field.
• Ability to visualize production scripts and other verbal or written instructions.
