Stanley Cup Final Series Props

When it comes to the Stanley Cup Final, there is no shortage of gambling opportunities available. For the 2019 edition of the struggle for Lord Stanley’s holy grail, the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues are set for what is shaping up to be another fascinating championship.
BetOnline has introduced a litany of wagering opportunities for the Cup Final, with odds on correct score, complete games played in the series and in which the series will end, combined with 15 player prop specials.
Here are a few of my favorite props:
OVER 5.5 Points for Ryan O’Reilly (-115)
Despite sitting second in team scoring behind Jaden Schwartz, Blues centre Ryan O’Reilly has been undervalued in this series in my view. O’Reilly, who has three goals and 11 assists from the 2019 playoffs, has been the steadiest offensive contributor for St. Louis all year .
Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask was outstanding in the postseason but I think O’Reilly can go OVER his 5.5-point projection. If you are interested, he’s +4000 to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as NHL playoffs MVP.
Series to Move Six Games (+190)
Since 2010, six of those nine Stanley Cup Finals have gone into six games. While I realize past stats and tendencies can be immaterial, the Blues and Bruins are incredibly evenly matched and I will see this one going to six matches.
St. Louis has played plenty of games in the postseason, since the Blues-Winnipeg Jets first-round series went to six matches. The Blues went the distance in a Game 7 showdown with the Dallas Stars in the next round before dispatching the San Jose Sharks in six in the Western Conference final.
The Bruins are coming off a sweep of the Carolina Hurricanes, yet they went the distance vs the Toronto Maple Leafs at the opening round and had six games to send the Columbus Blue Jackets packing from the Eastern Conference semifinal.
I think another long series is in store, so the +190 juice looks appealing at a winner being crowned in Game 6.
