Mith Samlanh is a Cambodian led non-government organization committed to working with Cambodian street children and their families and communities. Daily Mith Samlanh provides vocational training, education, counseling, food, shelter, medical services and various outreach programs to 1,800 street children and youths in Phnom Penh. Mith Samlanh is running a Vocational Training Program at Romdeng and Friends Restaurant in Phnom Penh. Besides providing superb service to its clients, the restaurants are a place where street youth is being trained in hospitality. Mith Samlanh is seeking a qualified Cambodian candidate to fill a Cooking position to work in the restaurant. |

Do you enjoy working in a shop and selling creative products? Would you like to use your sales skills to help support Cambodian children, youth and families? Then join us!
You will be joining the Mith Samlanh team, which counts 300 professionals working together to provide innovative social services to children, youth and families.
One of our projects is working with families who are trained to make fun and interesting products. We assist these families by selling their items in our shops so they can earn money to support their children.
What will you do?
As a Shop Assistant you will be directly dealing with customers from all over the world and helping them purchase products from Friends ‘N’ Stuff, our internationally-recognized shop.

Shop Assistant
Duties
- Greeting the customers, having a good knowledge of our products, and providing them with assistance in choosing the right item
- Supporting the team in checking the quality of our products for each delivery
- Ensuring we have enough product in the stock
- Making our shop attractive by regularly re-arranging the displays
- Ensuring that sales numbers are correct and transparent
Requirements
- Friendly attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate well in Khmer and English with our international customers
- Passion for supporting marginalized children, youth, families and communities
- Experience in managing stocks and keeping them neat and tidy
- You are good with computers and can use a simple sales program
